Resolution...

Yeah, it's 2012.

According to these pictures, that makes me grumpy.

Ah, well. It also means it is a new year and with that (sometimes) comes resolutions. I have made very few serious resolutions in my time (read: probably one), but this year I decided to try to blog at least once a week, perhaps more. I also resolved to play too many video games but that's easy!!
So I start out the year with a fairly boring outfit, but sometimes it'll be that way, I suppose. But hey -- I got BOOTS for Christmas and I'm wearing a warm color that isn't pink! Whoa!

I actually wore this the other day but didn't take pictures of it then because it was really cold...and I was lazy because it was Friday and I just wanted a nap. Also I've got a cold and it was being really mean to me that day. Wah wah. 

So yeah. Jewel tones? This skirt is actually too big? Almost everything I'm wearing is from a different place? My boots are just snowboots because my one other pair are too fancy for school also it was snowy? Uptalking? Linguisticssssssss. Ok well. I hope you enjoyed me talking to myself again. 'Til next time. Which will probably be more than a week from now because it is duh duh duhhhhh finals week.

Ahhh! Because of the title of Tess' last post, I had "Baby It's Cold Outside" in my head the whole time I was taking these pictures.

This outfit kind of came about in a dumb way. After I woke up today I was lookin' at all the blogs I follow and while looking at Anomalous Allure's predominantly Old Navy outfit (as so many of mine are) I thought "ooh, I would like to have that skirt" only to realize a second later that I'm pretty sure I do have that skirt --or at least a very similar one -- in two colors. So yeah, now you know. You're welcome. Happy St. Nicholas' Day. I need a haircut.

Too Shy

Hello again!

It's been a while since I've made dumb faces in pictures for the internet to seeeeeee. I think the whole problem that's making me not blog ever is that being at school makes me really sartorially shy. I'm shy in general for the most part, but when I'm at school I worry that people will think I'm trying too hard or am too dressed up for classes and all that nonsense. It's much easier to dress myself during the summerrrrrr. Here's to trying to get over that insecurity, I suppose?

OTHERWISE: This cardigan is real cool, right? Right???? It's my favorite thing I've thrifted so far in my life. That being said, I'm not the best at thrifting.

I know it's been two months...

Yo, I don't know if anyone still checks this thing but I've been thinking about it lately, and I feel like I should maybe start updating again. School has distracted me, and I've also been not feeling that great about my ~style but I suppose it doesn't matter, and perhaps this thing will help me get better at that...or whatever, who knows what I'm talking about. YEAH. Ok. So, hopefully sometime soon I will start posting again. A couple times a week, let's say.
