[30for30 - 2] Unprepared

So uh. I'm worried I didn't think this little challenge thing through enough and that none of the pants I chose go with the tops I chose. Although, apparently, this isn't completely horrible, because I just found this pin (seriously, like two minutes ago). Similar? Maybe?

I ran out of light so these pictures are poop.





I've had to re-sew two different buttons on this skirt. That's the only sewing I really know how to do. I feel like I should learn how to do more.
Otherwise, this is, perhaps, a underwhelming start to my 30 for 30.

I am dumb and used that title for two reasons: because of the super neutral colors involved and the way I feel about the outfit. Perhaps it is just how I look in theses pictures. Perhaps it is the fact that I don't know how to wear cropped pants. But I don't really love this, and I don't really hate it.

I got a skirt in the mail and then I was like this is barely navy so I will wear that blue shirt I love with it...

I'm not a big fan of skinny jeans... or pants in general... but for some reason I enjoy rolling them up into capris like this

Wearing White?

I just realized I wore a white "skirt" (for reals it was a dress) at the beginning of this week. But I got this skirt in the mail last week and really wanted to wear it yesterday so.......good for me I did.
It is really strange to me that I could have worn two (predominantly) white bottoms twice in one week because for the longest time I have been opposed to anything white. But if nothing else, the one thing blogging has done for me is make me feel more comfortable wearing colors that aren't black, blue, green or purple.

Also it rained (and hailed) yesterday and made everything so much less oppressively hot and I am so happy about that. Hooray weather!
