I feel like the Fourth of July is the only holiday I actually plan for (sartorially) months in advance. I dress up for Easter and Christmas, wear green on St. Patrick's (I have tons of green clothing so it's not hard to do) and sometimes wear red or pink for Valentine's Day, but I tend to think a lot harder about what I'm going to wear for this holiday. I really don't know why. I like fireworks and parades a lot, but it's definitely not my favorite holiday.
Still, when I got this heart-print dress (a gift from my mom for Valentine's Day), I knew I would wear it for 4th of July this year. Planning an outfit almost 5 months in advance is a little crazy...don't you think?
Joe's not quite as enthusiastic about dressing for the holiday...here's his attempt. Hehe.
Boooommmmmmmm.
(It's really hard to take a good picture of a firework, even with a fireworks setting on your camera. grumble.)
