Flowers and Snow

Perhaps more accurately, floral scarf and snow. So much snow!!! What is that about?
I felt bad for the crocuses that got covered by this stuff. But I think they survived it ok?
Funny thing is, these pictures were taken on Tuesday and most of that snow is gone now. I'm kind of behind on posts. Ah well.

I think outfit is sort of out-of-character. I feel like blazers don't really look all that good on me, so I don't wear them that often. And I don't wear scarves that much either. The colors (black, teal, purple) are pretty "me" though.

Not Seasonally Appropriate

This outfit brought to you by Joe.~~~ It's something I definitely would not have thought of to wear myself but I do like it quite a bit.
Tess says it seems "fall-y." She's right. But it still kinda felt like fall the day I wore it. So...that's my excuse?

But today it feels like winter! Grumble. Apparently we got 10 inches of snow in the past day? How is that even possible!!! It's April next week!

Dressy Dress

Please excuse me for that post title...

I've been trying to make myself wear a dress/skirt at least once a week. I'm a wimp and am bad at wearing anything but pants when its less than 40 degrees outside. Leggings are definitely helping with it, though. They're almost pants....kind of...

I've had this dress for at least 2 years now and have only worn it once or twice. I'm not really sure why that is. I really like it.  And it doesn't look half bad? I think? Maybe?

Dang. I felt so cool in this and very few of the pictures ended up looking good.

ANYWAY. There's a friendly sloth on my shirt. That's the news. I hope you like it.

Greeeeeen Jeeeeeeans

I didn't realize until I had uploaded these pictures to the internet that I was wearing green pants in my last post. Oh well! They are different pants. I promise. These pants are brighter. And a weirder texture of pants. And they wrinkle really easily. Hopefully I can break them in and they will be great.

I didn't put my hand that way for this purpose, but I suppose I should address it! Internet, I am engaged.  The ring you see here is not my ~official engagement ring. But it is pretty cool. It is this guy.

I actually wore this outfit to go pick the stone for my ring! AHhhhhh scary.

Working Hard/Hardly Working

Blahhhhhh I am blanking on what to write.

I took these pictures outside of my mom's work. I volunteer/intern for there every Friday. I thought it would be a nice change of scenery from the area around my house. But I feel like I didn't really find the best place for pictures. It's cool, though.  Maybe next time.

shhhh I know my bag's open

Past Madeleine

If someone had told past-me that I would be wearing red pants and a salmon-colored shirt together I wouldn't have believed them. Partly because I am usually pretty averse to warmer colors (I'm pretty sure I've discussed this before) and partly because...past-me didn't care so much about clothes...and probably would be ashamed at the number of different colored jeans I have. Also she would be disgusted by my painted nails. Present-me is still a little iffy on them.

Return of the Polka Dot Dress

-Perhaps you can't tell, but my camera got fixed!!! wooooo
-This is the first time I've tried wearing this dress with anything else (meaning, not by itself during the summer)
- I feel like this dress is the only thing I ever get compliments on.
- I also feel like the combination of the dress & coat make me look a little like an easter egg but whatevs.
- I have no idea what that pose is in the first picture.
- I'm still trying to figure out a good schedule for taking pictures.

Korean Airport Style

I am not making good use of my being allowed to write on this blog, but I've been meaning to post about our  layover at the fanciest airport I've ever seen. Sort of.

First stop! The food court! But seriously, there were like multiples of some of these stores. And look how shiny the floor is!

It's Crystals!

Actually, I was totally too scared to go into any of these places. But I did try to explain why Prada was the best (as per my knowledge of Vogue Ads in the late 1990s).

In cooler styles, here were some kids waiting to go home to China and acting a fool. Later the girl stole Errol's scarf, and then some boys played bumpercars with luggage carts.

The coolest guys in the whole place....

Later, a theses on extraneous lace in Chinese fashion and totally weird looking mannequins.
