Funny Post

I am not as fashion-y as Madeleine.

Yesterday I wore this outfit to the Farmer's Market

I know, I need some more light in my kitchen.
So I went to get some coffee and the male barista was wearing this outfit:
Well not exactly but it was almost the same shirt with khaki colored shorts.  Hahahahaaaaaaa I dress like a man.  That's the whole joke.  He thought it was funny too.

Model pose:

I don't know why I do that with my leg.  I'm weird.

Rose & Green

Hmmm. I tried to wear a skirt.
I dunno how well it worked out...
I'm worried I look like a muted Christmas. But maybe that's not the worst thing to be?

Hat Trick of Pants

I am looking at the post title and disapproving...

Last week I thought "huh, I haven't posted an outfit with pants in a while." But now, this is the third post in a row with pants -- and colored pants at that. I really like these jeans especially, and I realized out of nowhere at some point that it was probably because they are jewel-toned. I don't know if it's obvious but I am accidentally obsessed with jewel tones.

In other news, I am no longer feeling like a chipmunk. I think I am basically back to normal. Woo!

Like I said on Thursday's post, I got my wisdom teeth out Friday morning. Thus, I probably look a little weird in these pictures. Perhaps I always look a little weird. Or a lot weird.
Blah blah blah.
So, yeah. That's all the news I have. My weekend has been a lot of sitting around and eating ice cream (no, not all day). Tomorrow it is back to work time, so let's hope I feel tons better soon.

G. Biv

Looking at these pictures as I put this post together, I realized I am kind of dressed as the bottom of the rainbow, with a little white thrown in. I suppose the colors aren't in order either, so I don't actually look like a rainbow. Not that that's bad, rainbows are pretty cool.

Also, if anyone is paying attention, yeah I'm supposed to do that "Few Things" post tomorrow, but it might not go up. I am getting my wisdom teeth out tomorrow morning, so we'll see if I'm up to it. Or, if I'm smart I'll write it Maybe.

See y'all later.

Simple Sunday

I was having a lot of trouble not making dumb faces yesterday, so this is the best I can do:

Yeah. After these were taken, Joe and I did some catsitting and on the way back home after that we saw some hot air balloons:

and a praying mantis:

Super eventful day (or not?).
Now I have to go to work! Woe is me.

Busy - Working and Sleeping

Ahhh. I kind of sucked at blogging this week. I've been working 8-5 most days this week, which is probably not that horrible but it is not something I am used to doing. Today, the project I was working on for the week got finished at noon, so I came home and slept for the afternoon (and had weird dreams about high school and taking some special physics class, blech). I am so much fun, y'all.

I hope that is not the worst excuse for not updating in a while. Next week I will be back to a lot fewer hours at work, so I will probably have a few more posts then.

Otherwise, there's not much to say. Have a nice day!

A Few Things

Some things I liked this week:

 Forever 21 +
Super cool print and a pretty pretty color.

Cute elephant art? I'm there.

Super cool insect art? I am also there.

Old Navy
Honestly, I just really like this print. And I think it would go well with this skirt:

Social Experiment on etsy

This etsy shop is full of byootiful rings and I just chose one as an example.
It's worth checking out.

Ok, I am going to go to bed now.
See y'all later!

Similarities to last year's 4th of July outfit:
- Took the pictures in the same place.
-Pleated skirt (bought at same time -- same brand, but radically different sizes...)
-Man's belt (Dad's belt last year & this year a belt my dad keeps asking me for)
-Spilled on the shirt, whoopsie.
- Changed into jeans to go watch fireworks both times...

So...yes. This is my take on red white and blue for the holiday. I feel like I would have been fine wearing this any other day (as is also the case with last year's outfit) but it just kind of worked out to wear it for Independence Day.

Brown, White, and Blue

(pointing at a fly on a leaf? threatening it?)

This one seems to be better as an idea than a reality... Still, I didn't completely hate it. It sure was comfortable.

I realize there is white and blue in this (and a tiny hint of red), but I did not do this on purpose. I promise I didn't dress for Independence Day a day early.
I have a kind of crazy (by my standards) outfit planned for that, instead. Maybe you'll see it, maybe I'll chicken out, or maybe it'll be too hot to take pictures.

Uh. So. Happy July 4th, y'all. I'mma spend half of it playing Animal Crossing(yikes. maybe not that long).

While my mom was taking these pictures of me, I said "these aren't going on the internet." I'm still not sure they should be on here, pants are very bright. Even if I look a mess.
