Sometimes I tell other people to give me post titles. Today I asked Tess and she said "U LOOK LIKE TEARS." And I had no other ideas. So that explains the post title...or does it?

Some stuff:
1: I only seem to be able to wear blue or green or blueish green or greenish blue anymore.
2: I showed Tess when I bought this sweater last week, and apparently she already had it. And I had seen pictures of it. On this here blog. Oops!!
3. This is actually way more pastel than I ever thought I'd be comfortable wearing. Yet another thing Past Madeleine wouldn't believe...

Bloggin' Blues

The reason I'm so far behind on posting things (this is now...more than a week ago) is because I keep deciding I shouldn't post. Partly because I have no idea what to write about, and partly because I'm pretty sure no one really reads this blog anymore unless I explicitly tell them too. And a little bit because I feel like this outfit/these pictures should not be on the internet.

Hm. I didn't mean to sound so sad!
I really like my boots! And my new mint shirt! Yay?

Easter Sunday Switchup

Last sunday (Easterrrr), I started the day wearing this stuff:

I went to breakfast with my mom, which is why I am again taking pictures in a public place.

Then the Easter Bunny gave me some stuff...and I put it all on!

Bwahaha. Thanks Easter bunny. You know I like minty colored things.

P.s. do you like my polka dotted pants? They are at least a size too big, perhaps two, but I love them anyway.

Jean Jackets R Cool

I'm going to blame my dissatisfaction in these pictures on the wind. Because I felt super cool walking to lunch downtown in this outfit on Saturday (yes, I'm kind of behind in posting...does anybody care?).  And the wind messed up my skirt and hair and stuff.

Alright. I got 4 episodes away from finishing Buffy the Vampire Slayer about a month ago, and for no real reason stopped. So I'll probably go work on that...

Jacket: Kohls
Skirt: Asos
Shoes: Old Navy (they've got umbrellas on them!)

Hello Spring?

I've probably worn some pretty springy things already in 2013. But since I decided to stand next to a tiny cluster of crocuses here, I feel it is moderately appropriate to celebrate the beginning of the season. It'll probably get inappropriately cold again soon but hopefully it won't snow another 10 inches.

So hooray! Brightly colored dress!

Firework Shirt and Boring Shoes

My first thought when seeing these pictures is that I should probably figure out where all my shoes are. I'm too lazy to clean up enough to find all of my pairs of shoes, so I end up wearing one of a select few pairs every day. I actually had a better idea for shoes for this outfit but I spent a pretty good amount of time looking for them and could only find one of them... Next time, maybe. Whenever I clean under my bed...

In other news I sort of stumbled on this shirt the other day, and it was on clearance for like 1/10 of its original price plus it fits kind of perfectly and I think maybe that is my best luck shopping ever.

Do you like it? I like it. I think the pattern looks like fireworks...

Monday Morning Roundup

Last week I wore this to a rather solemn event.  I bought this skirt on sale last year, and I have slowly begun to realize that it's irregular.. the waist line slants a bit but I don't think you would notice it under my skirt.  Or if I hadn't told you.  The skirt has a cut out design on it and the shoes are peep toes with ruffles above the toes.  Cute.

Shirt: thrfited, skirt:f21, tights: gift?, shoes: h&m

And TODAY, I'm going to pretend like it isn't snowing!  The dress is an Easter present, and it is the most comfortable thing I own.  The nude flats were also a gift, I thought that they would go well with some of the bright pants I own!   My tights have sparkly polka dots on them also, can you tell?

Cardigan: Old Navy, Dress and shoes: Gift (Target), Tights: JCP, bracelets: Forever 21

Happy April!
