I'm not a big fan of skinny jeans... or pants in general... but for some reason I enjoy rolling them up into capris like this

And sticking my leg out like a crazy person..

And wearing small amounts of bright colors...

Wearing White?

I just realized I wore a white "skirt" (for reals it was a dress) at the beginning of this week. But I got this skirt in the mail last week and really wanted to wear it yesterday so.......good for me I did.
It is really strange to me that I could have worn two (predominantly) white bottoms twice in one week because for the longest time I have been opposed to anything white. But if nothing else, the one thing blogging has done for me is make me feel more comfortable wearing colors that aren't black, blue, green or purple.

Also it rained (and hailed) yesterday and made everything so much less oppressively hot and I am so happy about that. Hooray weather!

Day Off

Yesterday I didn't have to go to work, so I didn't actually have a reason to get dressed. And I didn't go anywhere, so I didn't have a reason to wear shoes. But this happened anyway. Hooray?

Lazy!

I picked a bad week to post every day.
Yesterday I was not feeling very good all day, so, naturally I didn't try very hard to look good.
Also I am in a generally grumpy mood (probably mostly because of the weather?) so I feel like anything I write here will be dumb dumb dumb. So I'll just leave you with some mediocre photos of a super comfortable dress.

Polka Dot Peplum

Uh oh. I got a peplum shirt.
I didn't expect to like it (or buy it) when I was trying it on, but those polka dots are hard to resist. Still, I realize that both the peplum and the polka dots are kind of super trendy, and I'm not sure how I feel about that. I try not to blindly follow trends. But but but I like this. Ok. Shush.

So I put it on with some jeans and hoped it looked ok. Maybe next time I'll be more adventurous with it.

Pink Pantz

Soooooo, I kept my promise from yesterday. But I don't have much to write about.
This weekend I got paid for the whole month of June, shopped too much and watched a whole bunch of Chuck with Joe.

Also I think I got weird looks at the store because I was wearing pink pants but whatever! I love 'em! Ha ha ha.

Pile of Pastels

Oh no, I missed another week. I suppose I will have to try and post all day this week to compensate (I think that's what I did last time I didn't follow through on my resolution). Sooooooooo yeah. Get ready for a week of fun. Starting with:

Joe said that he felt like the white should be on the top and the blue should be on the bottom in this combination, and I would normally agree with him, but this is the best way so far I have found to wear this dress (it has strange poofy sleeves and is really low cut). Also I feel like I'm wearing the most light/pastel colors I have in...well...forever.
