What Have I Done?

Haha....that post title sounds a little melodramatic. Or maybe I just think so because typing it got this song in my head. 

I left for a while, meaning to not come back, but I guess I've been thinking about this blog a little lately and I've decided to give it another try. I feel like I have a tendency to quit doing things a lot, and regret it later. So...yeah. Maybe I'll change some stuff about the way I do this, or maybe not, but I'll at least try to post more. Although July is probably the dumbest time to make this promise...sometimes its just too hot to even think about dressing myself properly or taking pictures. 

Sooooooo here's whats been going on recently:

Got an engagement ring (yeah wooooo)

Then I took waaaaay too many pictures of flowers...


Then we went to Canada (!!) for the wedding of Joe's cousin.



And I got a little too excited about Tim Hortons...

Had a birthday (weeeeeee)

Tess came home for Mom's birthday/Father's Day/wedding dress appointment timessssss.

Annnnnnnd....

I found a dress!!

Other things that happened:

- Joe and I found an apartment, and we're going to move in August.

- I started listening to One Direction a lot? I see the appeal?

- Finished the season of work where I was working. Wooo more free time booo no paycheck. Although I do have an internship for the summer....so actually I do still have a paycheck...

- Watched most of Game of Thrones. I caught up to Joe so now we are watching together --which means I can't watch it all in one day (what I do when I watch things alone). We also finally finished Fringe. So good.

- We probably have done some other weddingy/summery things but my brain is blank at the moment. Oh well.

Tough Guy

Hey there, haircut.

This is, again, a month ago. 

The yard looks much more alive now, and it is way too hot to wear boots and a jacket.

Joe said I looked super tough in this outfit. I think it's mostly the jacket's fault. Maybe the skulls on my scarf contributed too. Though I think they're sort of cute. Cute skulls, yep.





This is either the last post ever or I'm going to try harder to blog more. Which should it be?

Sometimes I tell other people to give me post titles. Today I asked Tess and she said "U LOOK LIKE TEARS." And I had no other ideas. So that explains the post title...or does it?

Some stuff:
1: I only seem to be able to wear blue or green or blueish green or greenish blue anymore.
2: I showed Tess when I bought this sweater last week, and apparently she already had it. And I had seen pictures of it. On this here blog. Oops!!
3. This is actually way more pastel than I ever thought I'd be comfortable wearing. Yet another thing Past Madeleine wouldn't believe...

Bloggin' Blues

The reason I'm so far behind on posting things (this is now...more than a week ago) is because I keep deciding I shouldn't post. Partly because I have no idea what to write about, and partly because I'm pretty sure no one really reads this blog anymore unless I explicitly tell them too. And a little bit because I feel like this outfit/these pictures should not be on the internet.

Last sunday (Easterrrr), I started the day wearing this stuff:

Jean Jackets R Cool

I'm going to blame my dissatisfaction in these pictures on the wind. Because I felt super cool walking to lunch downtown in this outfit on Saturday (yes, I'm kind of behind in posting...does anybody care?).  And the wind messed up my skirt and hair and stuff.

Alright. I got 4 episodes away from finishing Buffy the Vampire Slayer about a month ago, and for no real reason stopped. So I'll probably go work on that...
