Fake St. Patrick's Day

Here's some green. It was inevitable. It had to come back. Though I have a reason for it today. Well, more of a reason than that I like the color. Today is March's Everybody, Everywear, the theme is Green, and I suppose I wanted to participate for once.

I also wanted to find a better place to take pictures but this is what I got. I don't like it, but my camera ran out of batteries promptly after I got these pictures so I don't have much choice. You just gotta look at my beautiful fuse box.

 Hmmm. Running out of batteries also means you don't get a detail shot so you can see that I took the St. Patrick's theme a little further with leetle rainbow earrings. Ah well. Next time. Whenever I buy batteries.

Not Completely Sure

I'm a coward and took pictures inside again. 

Howeverrrr I also managed to not wear green again!

But (shhhh) I am wearing the same cardigan as Saturday's post.
I actually based this outfit around the shirt. I asked my friend Michelle the other day what color I should wear and she answered with red. I have a grand total of 2 red shirts, and the other one I have worn twice in previous posts. And I've not worn this shirt on the blog (nor maybe at all?) before. Although...does it look pink to you? I don't know what color my clothes are! Jeez.
Something else I hadn't done before this: worn these boots with something other than pants. I'm afraid I'm not completely sure what looks good with them. I figure jeans are a safe choice.

Warm Weather, Hot Pink?

That's right. I braved the outdoors for pictures again. Mostly because it was really warm. Which is also the reason for the pale bare legs. But going out there also meant a ton of wind, so these pictures are about as good as I could get. And that's why my hair looks so dumb.
Also, after posting yesterday I realized that I've been wearing way too much green/teal lately. So I tried to make it up (to whom? I have no idea) by wearing lots of pink.  (Secret: I am actually wearing a green bracelet but let's pretend I'm not, since it's not in any of the pictures) Hopefully I won't wear green next time either? But if I want to participate in this month's EBEW I will have to... Ah well. We'll see what happens. Probably something boring.

Minty Meh.

I just gotta say, I'm not completely thrilled with this one. But, I've not been feeling so great this week, I have a toothache (which may or may not be the result of a wisdom tooth) which is making it pretty hard to focus.  I decided to post because I don't know if I'll feel much better by the end of the week, and I gotta keep on with that New Years' Resolution. Also I'm pretty busy this week and I just don't know when else I'll have the time.
   



 Hm. Yeah. I don't look too happy in these pictures..... Also I kept feeling like I needed more layers (since it's been so long since I haven't needed them), so I ended up adding my jacket:

I have another idea for this top (which I actually haven't worn almost at all) that I like a lot better. It'll be a little while 'til you see that, though.

Yeah ok that was maybe sort of creepy.

So, right now I am putting off the very little homework I have to do.

I'm totally in love with this cat-print skirt. And it's even the right size. Actually, that seller has a lot of skirts with cool prints.

I have a lot of favorite animals -- cats, sloths, narwhals, pandas, elephants, peacocks, otters, penguins, capybaras, etc. etc. etc. -- but my favorite insect is the Blue Morpho. They are seriously pretty, you guys. Joe got me one for Christmas. Ok fine, it's fake but it's still cool. ANYWAY. It would also be cool to wear one around my neck.

These flats have lovely little rainbow dots. I almost bought similar (though white, not blue) ones last year but they sold out before I could actually order them. Ah well.

eShakti is one of my favorite stores to look at online just because everything is so pretty. It was hard to pick favorites, but right now I think they'd have to be this umbrella print dress and this skirt. I can't say no to a good heart print.

I Know How to Have Fun

Yeeaaahhh woo. Fashion bloggin' at 10 pm on a Friday night! I'm the most exciting.

Today was not the absolute best of days, and because of that I may look grumpy in my photos. Or maybe I just always look grumpy. Thats probably the case. However! My face isn't important. What is important is that I got new shoes in the mail this week and I wanted to showcase them on da blog. Why did I get new shoes? Who knows. But! I gave up buying things (other than necessary groceries) for Lent and I needed some new jeans -- I have had three pairs rip since coming back to school, so I ordered some stuff from Forever 21 to celebrate Mardi Gras.
Ummmmm I didn't wear them to school today because the weather said we'd have an inch of snow and they are a suede-y fabric so I didn't think they'd mix well with that. I did wear them yesterday, though, and they were a lot more comfortable than I was expecting. Also roomier in the calf. So.....good. They were not the worst choice I've ever made. YEAH OK. I think two paragraphs about a pair of shoes is enough.
