Excuses

I bet you thought I wasn't gonna post this week. Or maybe you didn't notice I hadn't yet. Probably that one. I could bore you with long paragraphs of why I haven't posted in a week (I suppose that's not really that long...) but mostly it boils down to:
- Schoolwork
- Dirty laundry
- Shyness
- Unpredictable weather
- Too lazy to shave legs = no skirts/dresses
- TV

Yeah...TV. I'm trying not to let Netflix Instant Watch and Hulu be my downfall.

Cat Fancy

It got cold againnnn. 

(So I wore my boots)

Although it might not seem like it, I'm stepping a little outside of my comfort zone with this one. First off, theres that bow. I don't really know why, but before I started reading blogs, I would have thought that bow was pretty weird and kind of dumb. Second: I'm wearing the shirt backwards. Yeah, that bow is supposed to be on the back of my shirt. Also would seem weird to me if I hadn't seen it dozens of times on other blogs. Third: Almost all of my shirts (save a few button-downs) are normal ole t-shirt material. This one is silky and I don't know how to deal with it!!
I guess the point of this post is that I keep blogging and reading blogs in order to try new things and see if I like them or not. I'll get back to you about that. Maybe.

Things that make me feel a little better about the whole thing are: one of my favorite sweaters, normal old jeans, and the fact that the shirt is covered in cats.

Procrastination! Yay!

I am writing this here post because I really don't want to be doing my schoolwork. Soooo irresponsible.

Not much else to say, I suppose. I wore this today because I feel like I wear pants all the time and I want to stop being scared to wear skirts and dresses to school. Even though I have perpetually pale legs.

Okay sooooo. Time to go actually do the work I'm trying to avoid. Have a good day y'all.

I Need a New Necklace

Whenever I'm iffy on an outfit, I put on this white necklace. (It happens a lot, I don't know if you've noticed...)I  It makes me feel a little less insecure about the sucky-ness of the ensemble. But sometimes, even with my trusty necklace, I feel boring. Ah well, at least I'm also wearing a shirt I love. Hopefully next post will be extra brilliant to make up for this one.

3 Months In

So at the beginning of the year I made the resolution to post at least once a week. It's been three months now (right?) and I'm still doing ok. Up there is a selection of the things I've posted since making that resolution, and it's got me thinking that this isn't possibly the worst blog I've ever seen. It might not be anything special, but I'll keep going anyway. For now. (Thank you Joe for makin' the grid of Madeleines)

I'll be back soon with another outfit post. And perhaps in another three months with one of these (if it's ok with you).

Back to the Basement

Hmm. I'm back at college, as you might be able to deduce by the fact that I'm back in my wood-paneled lair, in front of the closet. I definitely prefer taking pictures outside, and not with the self-timer. I always look so grumpy! Probably because I'm trying not make stupid faces. It never really works.

It is warm which means I get to wear this dress again! I'm excited. Maybe too much so. Weeeeeee.

(Flora and) Fauna for You

In some recent post I said I might post pictures from the trip to the Cincinnati Zoo I took on the 24th of March. Fun fact: I'm a little too into zoos...so this kind of post might happen again someday. Sooooo here's some pictures of some animals hooray!
